Todos los Sperconstellation fueron bautizados con nombres relativos al Decubrimiento, tales como nombre de Caravelas, o de pueblos del Nuevo Continente. Este avión fue bautizado "Santiago" el 1 de Febrero de 1962, siendo retirado del servicio en Mayo de 1967.
