Con el tiempo, Dan-Air dejó de ser solo un transportista charter y empezó a volar rutas regulares por toda Europa. También tuvo acceso al sacrosanto Heathrow, normalmente reservado para "compañías respetables". Probablemente para reflejar este cambio, DA adoptó esta sobria librea con los colores nacionales.
