En la tarde del 23/4 cuando se celebraba el III Open Day de Lanzarote, un AT72 de Naysa se abrió en la cabecera de la RW03 para detenerse muy cerca frente a nosotros con este saludo que nos emocionó a todos nosotros. En nombre de todos los spotters allí presentes y en el mío propio, agradecerle al piloto Sergio Pila tan bonito DETALLE!

Después de un día de niebla y lluvia donde muchos tráfico fueron desviados a GCTS, se abrieron los cielos para dejarnos este maravilloso atardecer en GCXO, que suerte vivir en Canarias y disfrutar de este tipo contrastes y espectáculos.

Haciendo el banking a izquierda tras despegar de la 03 de ACE para llegar hasta el punto LARIS, y desde allí proceder directamente hacia el VOR de TFN.
Al mando iba el Cmte. Antonio Lorca, al que tantos años hace que conozco, y sentado a la derecha iba el Primer Oficial Alejandro Álava. Un abrazo para ambos, dos magníficos compañeros.

Dicho una vez más, la mayor satisfacción de todo spotter es sentirse reconocido y compenetrado con el mundo aeronáutico, a la par que simpatizar con ellos, los aviadores. En nuestro caso, los de Binter son los que más se enrollan aportando detalles o gestos curiosos como pude ver ese día cuando se encararon ante nosotros, quedando claro que sin entorpecer a la operativa en todo momento, y el comandante teniendo la oportunidad a brindar saca su cámara fotográfica y nos inmortaliza. Ellos serán siempre nuestros ídolos. ¡Muchas gracias!

Arribando a GCRR con el sol ya en el ocaso.
Quiero dedicar esta foto a todos aquellos spotters que he conocido en persona desde que me involucré en esta maravillosa afición, éstos son: Javier C.L., Eloy C. (LPA), Ricardo Torija D. (MAD), Carlos Alberto V. y José Luis Moya (SDR), Gabino Hernández, Javier de la Cruz, Christian Amado y tooodos aquellos con los que estuve esa tarde del 11 de abril en Casa Argelio (TFN-TFS), José Ramón Betancort (ACE) y, en especial, a Antonio Lorente Bruñas (ABC), a quién conocí y pasamos un buen rato de spotting en esa misma tarde que hice esta foto.

Pasaron por aquí estos simpatiquísimos y amables caballeros que nos preguntaron ¿quién ganará al día siguiente el derbi canario que enfrenta a los equipos de fútbol siendo la UD Las Palmas y el CD Tenerife? A lo que respondí: ¡Qué gane el mejor! Al final, el resultado fue de 1-0 a favor de la UD Las Palmas.
Una vez más, los pilotos se muestran cercanos a los spotters y nos mostraremos incansables de su disposición ante todos nosotros. Y sí, una vez más, se agradece. ¡Buenos vuelos!
Y para mi gusto, aviación y fútbol en una sola foto... ¡mola mazo!

III Spotterday de Lanzarote.
La parte más amena y significativa para nosotros desde el lado de la operativa aérea: nos saludan de la mejor manera posible, además de realizar un retrato de familia en acción. ¡Gracias!
Con esta foto quiero agradecer a todos los participantes y, sobre todo, al aeropuerto por hacer posible este evento de una manera memorable y bastante grata un año más... del que se confirma lo infalible: no cesa la tendencia y celebraremos el cuarto spotterday sí o sí el próximo año.

Llegando a parking al atardecer proviniente de La Gomera antes de volar de nuevo como NT180 hacia Gran Canaria. Este sería el último vuelo de un Beechcraft 1900 vistiendo los colores de Binter Canarias, por lo que fue una escala bastante nostálgica y emotiva.
Yo he tenido el honor de ser el coordinador del último vuelo de "la bicha", como sus tripulantes la llamaban cariñosamente, y quiero dedicarle esta foto al Comandante Guillermo Cabrera y al Primer Oficial Jose Arocha, siempre geniales conmigo, y a todos los hombres y mujeres que han volado en el pasado las Beechcraft con la librea de Binter Canarias. Un abrazo a todos.
Después de rodar desde el parking, se dirigió hacia la pista 12, que era la que se encontraba en servicio, y nada más despegar niveló y realizó una pasada baja con tren arriba por delante de la terminal y toda la plataforma a modo de despedida final de este aeropuerto.
