En final pista 36 sobre una espectacular orografía. La aproximación al nuevo aeropuerto de Quito con 4100 metros de pista y 7910 pies de elevación es un lujo comparada con la del antiguo aeropuerto. Además ya permite vuelos directos con Europa. Se aprecia un 777 de KLM.
