TP1582 climbs the sky towards Oporto early in the morning. Notice the gear up how soon it was after take-off.

I do miss those reverses' magic... This one first flew as OO-SDE in June 12, 1974. Aircraft believed to be still stored at Jakarta in 2012. To my friend Tony who was a true fan of this model, and who dramatically passed away at the age of 28, back in 2008. We do keep you alive in our minds Tony! Rest in Peace.

Portuguese Air Force Academy's Chipmunk. At that time these aircraft were active for 58 years in row! This great machine is yet active :) (2012)

[Red Bull Air Race - Porto 2007] This is what happens when you can see, live, such extremely skilled pilots as RBAR pilots are... in this shot Mike Mangold performs a knife-edge. No single balcony was empty that day! Douro riversides, in Oporto and Gaia, got fully crowded just to attend this unique show... for free! :)

[MAKS 2007] Is this a take-off or touch down? It's hard to judge only by the image, isn't it? This is the first prototype, of only two produced, of this type performing a nose up landing during the air show. The TU-334 program was cancelled in 2009, this is the reason why this photo is really exotic to me.
