Realizando la primera parte del servicio militar en Granada, en Armilla concretamente, aterrizó este C212 Aviocar (cn AB1-9-146/ número de fabrica 146) con los colores de la misión de las Naciones Unidas para Namibia (UNTAG), aunque había terminado su participación tiempo atrás (duró hasta 1990).
