51-72 The F86K Sabre aircraft was on display at the Vicenza military base at the Airport's Historical Museum, and is now preserved near Folgaria (Passo Coe) at Base Tuono, shortly after the entrance.This aircraft is a hybrid because the fuselage is from North American MM54-1288 delivered to the Dutch Air Force, while the fin comes from a Fiat-built aircraft for the French Air Force, MM54-4858, part of a batch of 22 aircraft sold by the Armèe de l'Air to the Italian Air Force in the early 1960s.
