Detrás del A330 se ve la construcción enorme de una nueva terminal que casi duplicará la capacidad del aeropuerto - que ya mueve más de 66 millones de pasajeros.

Como ya comenté en otra fotografía, había un tiempo donde los vuelos directos entre la República Popular de China y Taiwán estaban prohibidos. Aquí me encuentro dentro de un A330 de Dragonair (filial de Cathay Pacific) para volar a Hong Kong de Shanghai, y de allí en otro A330 de Cathay a la ciudad de Taipei. Cuanto menos curioso. Se aprecia en el finger de al lado un A300-600.

Durante mi estancia en el aeropuerto de Pudong tuve ocasión de fotografiar a este B-777 neozelandés mientras lo estaban preparando para su largo vuelo de regreso a su lejano país.

About one of the last flights to board and be serviced by ground crew before a thunderstorms rolled through bringing with them heavy rain and frequent lightning strikes. Subsequently PVG ground ops were closed for 3 and a half hours due to the storms causing me to miss my connection in NRT and having to pay for a hotel since airlines don't cover weather delays... ):
