Detalle de las turbinas y de la cola del VC-10,montaba 4 turbofan Rolls-Royce Conway de 9525 kg. de empuje unitario, estos aviones cuando fueron retirados de las lineas, fueron adquiridos por la RAF y convertidos en aviones cisternas.
