Durante la II Guerra Mundial más de un aparato aliado tuvo que efectuar un aterrizaje forzoso en nuestro país para no caer en manos de los alemanes al regresar averiado tras una misión sobre Francia. Este Halifax lo efectuó en la playa cercana al aeropuerto del Prat donde permaneció cierto tiempo. A la vista de esta foto tengo unas dudas que quizás Zaza o algún otro compañero pueda aclararme. ¿Cómo es que este bombardero lleva matrícula civil? ¿Sería alguno de los empleados para el lanzamiento de espías o suministros para la resistencia francesa? y ¿Qué son estos circulos que se ven a lo largo del fuselaje? No hace falta decir que ésta es una de mis primeras fotos de aviones.
