El 47690/843 fue uno de los dos DC-9 de la Fuerza Aérea Kuwaití: el otro (KAF320) fue destruido el 2 de septiembre de 1990 durante la invasión de Kuwait.
A destacar el radomo y antenas de la cola, similares a los de los C-9 de la USAF y la US Navy.
