Podemos ver en esta foto la turbina Rolls Royce Avon, ésta carecía de fan, por lo que tenían un mayor consumo y un nivel de ruido muy superior a los que venían con fan, que fue la versión del Caravelle 10R y 11R. Al fondo podemos ver que está tomando tierra un Bristol 175 Britannia.
