La quiebra de varias compañías regionales norteamericanas ha dejado un número importante de CRJs excedentes. Esto ha hecho que se hayan empezado a ver en Rusia, uno de los pocos mercados que se resistían a los regionales canadienses.
Malas noticias para los Tu134 y Yak 50 que hasta ahora habían tenido poca competencia occidental.
