El primer serie 70 en España fue adquirido por Cargosur en 1993 y luego transferido a Iberia cuando la carguera se integró en la matriz. Desgraciadamente y a diferencia de los dos serie 62F este no llegó a ser pintado con la librea de Iberia, simplemente se le colocó el logotipo en la deriva.
