El segundo prototipo del DC-10 lo operó Cal Air de febrero de 1986 a Diciembre de 1988. Tras ser convertido en hospital volante lo utilizó Project Orbis durante mas de 25 años. Actualmente se exhibe en el Pima Air and Space Museum.
