Por lo que he podido investigar, este TriStar es el 247 de los 250 que se construyeron, y su primer destino fue el Gobierno de Jordania. Construido en configuración VIP pasó al Príncipe de Arabia Saudita Abdul Aziz Al Ibrahim en 2001, y está almacenado desde 2009. Aquí lo vemos en 2015 con una imagen bastante saludable.

Visitar uno de los múltiples "boneyards" que pueblan el Sudoeste estadounidense es embarcarse en una máquina del tiempo que permite volver a ver aviones practicamente desparecidos de los cielos. Como ferviente admirador de los Tristar, éste fue de los que más me tocó la fibra sensible, más aún viendo lo impoluto que lo mantienen desde que llegó a Victorville en enero de 2009.
