Un Tornado IDS (4408; c/n GS073/4108) de la JBG38 despega desde Fairford, de vuelta a su base, mostrando sus grandes tanques externos. La versión IDS (Interdiction-Strike) era la variante "chaparrita" de ataque, común a los tres paises integrados en Panavia (Gran Bretaña, Alemania e Italia) en comparación con la más esbelta ADV (Air Defence Variant) encargada solo por la RAF.
